This is my nineteenth year of teaching. I have taught kindergarten, first, and second grades. I grew up in Hemet, California before heading to the University of California, Santa Barbara. I have Bachelor's degree in Sociology and a Master's degree in Education. I have been a National Board Certified Teacher since 2004. I was honored to be named LAUSD Teacher of the Year for 2017-2018! Teaching is my passion.
My Family
David is my wonderful husband. He is a professor at California State University, Northridge. We have been married for 15+ years. We have a son and a daughter. They are twins. We love to travel and explore new places. We live in Encino, California.

Lucas
Lucas is my amazing son. He is a very active boy and likes all kinds of sports. His mean mom FINALLY signed him up for AYSO soccer this season. He plays piano and clarinet. He is in sixth grade. His newest hobby is Fortnite.
Lila
Lila is my fabulous daughter. She is creative and active. She loves to draw and create. She plays piano and trumpet, and is trying to make time for ukelele. She also dances ballet and jazz/funk. She is in sixth grade. She loves to watch DIY videos and attempt to create new things.
